Frequently Asked Questions

We provide non-medical care and supervision for persons 60 years or older who may need assistance with activities of daily living. We will also serve persons under the age of 60 who have similar needs. Caring Home Cottage will offer a range of services including medication management, assistance with daily living activities, and personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. All residents will be ambulatory status.

According to Title 22 Laws and Regulations:

"Ambulatory Person" means a person who is capable of demonstrating the mental competence and physical ability to leave a building without the assistance of any other person or without the use of any mechanical aid in case of an emergency.

Residents can be considered ambulatory if they use a cane or quad cane if they are: 

1.) able to respond both physically and mentally to an audible, visual, or oral signal, 

2.) can evacuate the building unassisted in an emergency 

3.) can utilize any of the escape routes.

Caring Home Cottage will be an all-inclusive private pay resident care facility for the elderly (RCFE).
